At Brandan Computer Solutions we support both

are usually deployed for QuarkXpress, Photoshop and Illustrator

Pro Databasing
Perhaps, like many businesses, you use separate
applications for different tasks — Word for letters,
quotations and mail shots; Excel for financial workings, VAT
returns, production work tickets and so on. You then need

operation in a spreadsheet or Calculator application to support
management and accounting procedures and to get a complete

This essential business tool integrates your data into a tailored

in a wide variety of ways. Suddenly you can run instant searches
on customers, automate quotes and invoices and get an accurate

Within the system you can include features such as:
- A client database — comprehensive information
on all your customers, their business sectors, locations
and purchasing history, whether they’ve bought through
web contact or a mail shot response, and whether they’ve
signed up for inclusion in your monthly mailings.
- A quotation system — just select the
customer and up comes a standard quotation document. You
only need to add the relevant items and the system will
automatically add the costings. Save, then email the quote
to the customer. Simple as that.
- Job management — the quote’s
accepted and now you can manage the order process right
through to delivery. You can interrogate the system at any
time to check on the status of the order.
- Invoicing — the password protected
system has access to all job details, enabling invoices
and credit notes to be issued automatically in suitable
format for VAT returns.

Pay
As You Go
We try first to solve computer problems over
the telephone or by email, but that’s not always possible.
So we provide an on-site trouble shooting service at any hourly
rate, geared to correcting hardware and software faults, virus
removal, component upgrades and so on.
We can usually estimate how long a job will take, so we give
you a price up front. And, within reason, we’ll stick
to that price even if the task does take longer than we predicted.

Support
Contracts
Many clients engage us on a support contract
basis, so they can be sure of a rapid response and an effective
solution that minimises downtime.
Our support contacts are always tailored to the needs of the
client’s business, and graded according to the required,
specified response time. All our contracts include remote
desktop support enabling us, where possible, to solve your

Remote
Desktop Support
We can usually solve hardware and software problems
via a secure remote desktop connection, taking control of
your mouse and keyboard from our own base. This reduces the
need for site visits, keeping costs down and ensuring a rapid
response to problems.
Windows XP Pro has this facility built in, and for clients
who don’t have that particular system, there are other
third party applications that can achieve the same result.
So we are able to offer a remote desktop support service as
a standard feature of all our support contracts. Back
